先回に続き、今回も東北のお話をしようと思います。
我々が青森県を訪れたときは、冬の間、雪に閉ざされていた
八甲田、十和田ゴールドラインが開通してすぐの頃でした。
道の両側には2メートルほどの雪の壁が続き、白い回廊を
通っているような感覚になります。
そこに忽然と現れる風光明眉な山の一軒家宿の酸ヶ湯を
通り過ぎたところで、またしても現れた「まんじゅうふかし」の看板。
これを皆さんはどんな所だと想像されるでしょうか。
ちょうどお昼頃に通りかかった私達は、当然、
お饅頭を蒸かしている場所だと何の疑いもなく考え、
車を降りて、近くまで歩き始めました。
ここもやはり雪の回廊。車が通れるほどの道幅もなく、
舗装されていない道を歩いていくと...
雨をしのぐ屋根とベンチのような椅子からほのかに湯気が立ち上るだけの
場所に、すでに近くから遊びに来たと仰る家族連れの先客が座っていました。
私たちの頭の中は？？？でいっぱい。
思わず名前の由来をその方々に聞いてみました。
すると・・・
「まんじゅう」とは、東北の方言で、お尻とか、女性器を指すとのこと。
そしてここは、子宝の湯、若返りの湯だそうです。
・・・やっと納得。
野沢温泉などでよく見られる様なセイロは無いし、ましてや、売り子の
おばちゃんもいない訳です。
地中から吹き出す源泉の蒸気を木箱のベンチに通し、その上に腰掛けて
お尻を温める。服を着たまま、女性には大敵のそして近頃は男性にも
増えているという、下半身の冷えを改善してくれる、優れた場所だったの
です。
食いしん坊もここまで来ると重症だなあと苦笑いしながらベンチから伝わる
暖かさと、優しい東北弁で交わされる会話を聞きながら、旅ならではの
出会いに癒されるひと時を過ごしました。
そして、その後、美味しい昼食にあり付いたのは、言うまでもありません。
暖かくて、楽しくて、おいしくて幸せなひと時でした。

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.
Perhaps you should update the php server on your webhost, Wordpress is kinda slow.~-"-`
